GAVE Campus of Care Tuoi Hac Village will be built in the Flower City Community Campus in Brampton
Mayor Patrick Brown and Brampton City Council passed a motion to lease a 5-acre city land parcel in the FCCC at 8950 McLaughlin Road, Brampton to GAVE in support of GAVE's Campus of Care consisting a 160-bed modern Long Term Care Home and a 140-unit Affordable Senior Housing. We are deeply grateful to Brampton City Council, especially Mayor Patrick Brown, Councillor Martin Medeiros and Councillor Jeff Bowman for their strong, unwavering support and guidance.

Brampton City Council passed a motion in support of Golden Age Village for the Elderly Ontario (GAVE), to endorse a 5-acre city land parcel to build a Campus of Care facility at 8950 McLaughlin Rd. with two buildings; a 160-bed modern Long Term Care Home and a 140-unit Affordable Senior Housing.

- City of Brampton Council unanimously passed motion to lease the 5-acre parcel of land in the Flower City Community Campus to GAVE for 50 years
- BÁNH CHƯNG (A traditional sticky rice Cake specially for TẾT – Lunar New Year) a fundraising event – February 2nd – 9th
- Since April of 2020, we were awarded funding from the Federal government via the New Horizons for Seniors Program and the COVID19 Emergency Community Support Fund through the United Way Greater Toronto, and funding from the United Way, to a total of more than $100,000.00 to date to provide Hot Meals for our Seniors. With this funding we have provided over 5000 hot meals, delivered to their doors, once a week to over 500 Vietnamese Canadian seniors and special needs across Toronto and GTA. We were able to support our local businesses by partnering with over 10 Vietnamese restaurants across the GTA with this program – April 2020 to February 5, 2021

- On going: since April, when the Covid-19 pandemic was declared, our volunteers, young and old (from teenagers to 97 years old), have been working tirelessly to produce over 25,000 hand made face masks as part of our appreciation and support to the healthcare and front-line workers. We have also raised funds to buy 10,000 medical masks, 1000 mask shields and with our partner
restaurant HaNoi 3 Seasons, donated almost 500 Hot Meals to our healthcare workers. We were able to provide thousands of reusable/medical masks and/or face shields and/or Hot Meals to the
followings: Brampton Emergency Management Office, Brampton Civic Hospital, Peel Region/Brampton city, North York General Hospital, Trillium Health Network, Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital, Michael Garron Hospital, St. Michaels Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Centre – Unity Health Toronto, Toronto Western Hospital, Scarborough General Hospital, Castleview Wychwood Tower LTC, Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Asso., Chartwell Valley Vista Retirement Residence, Richview Manor, Nisbet Lodge Nursing Home, Mosaic Senior Home, King City Lodge Nursing Home, Mapleglen Residence, Yee Hong Centre, Villa Giardino Senior
